When did I say anything negative about Endyn? I saw the SC before they put it on, and it was a work of art. Obvisouly, some time and care was put into the whole system.
I know TOO will help them tune the SC. I posted on Sunday, and like most businesses, Endyn was NOT OPEN. We were all excited to see the car perform, and I merely wanted a few tips to see a) whether something was messed with the install or b) whether someone could help us tune/diagnose any problems.
I am not "bullshitting" or trying to make anyone look bad. Frankly, I don't know when this post turned so goddamn negative.
As we all know, there are some Endyn haters on this group, and I suppose my post allowed them to speak their minds, however, I said nothing against Endyn at all. I'm sure I will send my JRSC to Endyn in the future once I get the cash.
Also, I'm sorry if I upset anyone! This wasn't intended to badmouth Endyn. If someone has a problem with a JRSC, does everyone jump on him, and tell him to stop bashing Jackson Racing? I don't think so. I merely wanted to find a way to at least fixe any problems so the car was drivable, and then, I am sure TOO would help them tune.
The installer has done at least 20 JRSC. He is located in Vancouver, BC, and for obvious reasons, I am not going to mention the shops name. Now that everyone is all negative, who is to say there won't be some _______ shop bashing? I know the installation was done well, but maybe there are some things that need to be taken care of, beyond a usual JRSC install.
BurntGSR: Thank you so much for the offer; however; the car is in Vancouver. Plus, it is not even mine, so it is really not my business. I just wanted to get the car moving normally so my buddy would be even more psyched.
The broken axle also probably contibuted to the reason that the car felt weird. I mentioned this before! I know the problem was tuning and general car-issues, so I'm sure once the owner talks to Larry (and the axle is fixed) everything should be running smoothly.
Thanks. I apologize for stirring up trouble! That was SERIOUSLY unintentional.

JSRC_ITR: Don't worry man. A bunch of us are skeptics, some more strident than others. Anytime the Endyne topic comes up you see these posts.
Regardless, I'm sure we would all like to help your friend out. Keep us posted and we'll keep trying to help.
We're still a little short on specifics of your friends problems. Do you have the answers to any of the meaningfull questions above?
Timing? Fuel Pressure? Boost? A/F ratio? Gas mileage?
Don't give up. If nothings melted, I'm sure it can be fixed up.

Well said! I too had the same problem with my JR kit. The install has been said to be one of the nicest installs people have seen. Yet when I hopped on the dyno I hit 155.6whp! Yeah I lost 10+whp from stock. And guess what the problems were?
-Timing
-Wiring of the supercharger
-air/fuel tuning
I think that with some good tuning (which is the key to any car), the kit will produce ALOT of power. The axial forsure is a aid to the problem. I'm sure Larry will go over every detail with you. I know when I was having some problems with the Endyn fuel system install, I called Larry, and he spent hrs helping me, and sending me stuff to help with the install. I know once my name comes up on his huge list (now going into mid next year) my car will fly.
Good luck with the problem solving. Once you start to find problems that make a huge difference in power your friend will have a ear-to-ear smile http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

It's all good! He talked to Larry, and that sorted out the tuning.
Again, thanks!

The suspense is killing me, what was wrong?

TOO (LOL) much fuel! WAY TOO MUCH FUEL! Plus, the broken axle could NOT help much!

so this car that you've all been talking about is mine. my friend has told you all about it; but let me tell you, it feels ALIVE! i still haven't pushed it hard because 1) there is a new clutch in there so i have to be patient with it, which is very hard, for atleast 450miles. 2)tunning a car that is running around 14PSI of boost is not a joke. As Rboosted717 said the car after tunning is going to be very fast, right now i need a fuel pressure gauge and a few other things so i can start tuning.I've seen this clip of larry's Civic which some guy was filming from the inside of the car. and The car looks like a bullet! Hell, the boost goes all the way upto 17 pounds!!!!!
Larry tells me that the higher the modifications the more significant tunning will be. Although he is supper busy (i hear he works so hard that he only gets MAX 4 hours of sleep every night) he still has managed to find time to talk to me for a very long time today to help me understand how to tune. He is super nice.
only another 380miles till the clutch is broken in and i can start tunning and start DRIVING! . till then i'm gonna take it easy but i will keep you guys posted...

If I had the Endyn mod and a new clutch, it would probably drive me crazy having to break it in.
When I first got my clutchmasters, I took to driving this stop + go winding path through the neighborhood every night just to get it over with.

SCGS98: Good to here your running better!
Just make sure to keep your cool and not race when some punk in his riced-up Civic DX revs his soda-straw exhaust at you! It hurts, but you'll get him next time.
I had to let a freakin' Grand Prix beat me in July when I had FPR issues. That sucks!
Post back when you're all broken in.
